The Day

Upon arrival, you’ll meet the industry professionals who’ll be your mentors for the day. Before you do any filming, they’ll take you through all the equipment, show you how to approach writing a documentary and the way the industry plans a film.

After a fully catered lunch, you’ll then work as a team to pick a topic, design the structure of the film and write the interview questions. Each participant will receive guidance and support from our Mentors who are there to ensure you leave with the skills and confidence to tackle your own projects.

Everyone will receive an email after the fact with a link to download the audio and video files of each take from the day. These won’t be synced and the video will be in a RAW or h.264 format. Unsure what that means? Don’t worry! You’ll be shown on the day!
